Welcome to my corner of the Internet

After a LONG time coming, I’ve finally gotten around to putting up this limited site.

Why did it take so long? I always have more projects than time. And what projects I do have tend to expand to fill (and exceed) time. The joys of projects of discovery, If you do them right, there’s always more to do.

Why didn’t you just install an existing open source project? Because I wanted to get some more hands on with “modern” tech. Most of my work projects these days are components and pretty deep back end stuff. And I’m happy with that - UX not being one of my strong skills. But it’s always good to understand all the aspects of projects and this is one of the ways I’m keeping my hand in on the web front end side.

Why did you even do it? Because the “Internet of four web sites” is a thing. And I was looking to have something I actually had some control over to post stuff. I’m not going for the Youtube Likes and Subscribes, just something I can point someone to if I want them to have some context and that I’m not worried the link will be dead when I do.

So here I am. I’ll be posting erratically, but the Interest Links section should see a bit of activity, though it’ll probably shuffle a bit as I get my process sorted out.
