Periscope Film
Rescued and digitized vintage films — industrial, military, and educational — posted free.
A film-preservation operation that rescues one film at a time and posts it free: 1944 Navy carrier-landing training films, 1934 Florida home movies, 1962 Kodak promos with Chet Huntley, 1950s sermon-with-science oddities. They scan actual motion-picture prints and license to the BBC, History Channel, Smithsonian, and Netflix — the YouTube channel is the public wing of that archive. Uploads several times a day; a bottomless “let it run” history feed.
