Hermes Hidden Features (Wingtips)
Community-collected lesser-known Hermes tricks: handoff, steer, REST API.
Hermes features.
The “Hermes Wingtips” page is a community-compiled collection of lesser-known Hermes capabilities: /handoff to move a live session between CLI/Telegram/Discord (same session id, full transcript), hermes -c to resume the last session, what the compression icon means (which turns compression keeps vs summarizes), /browser connect to drive your own Chrome via CDP, the dashboard’s own REST API for automation (sessions, full-text search, config over HTTP), hermes desktop native apps, /steer for mid-task course correction, and the bundled claude-code delegation skill. A good complement to the official docs.
