Derina Harvey Band
Canadian Celtic rock band gone viral via TikTok. Channel dormant.
A bit less edgy than Dropkick Murphies, but with a very similar vibe.
Fearless front-woman Derina Harvey leads an award-winning Celtic rock band out of Newfoundland — likened to a “rockier” Great Big Sea if fronted by Adele, with a high-energy live show. Their recording of Tom Lewis’s “The Last Shanty” went viral on TikTok (used in thousands of videos, 2M+ new streams a month), and the album “Waves of Home” followed in 2023. The main channel hasn’t uploaded in about two years; the band’s music also lives on the auto-generated Derina Harvey Band - Topic channel for streaming distribution.
