DAVID BOBER (ROYAL NAVY FILMS)
Public-domain Royal Navy recruiting and instructional films. Dormant archive.
These are great for referincing old films. This goes with the also linked Periscope films.
A collection of public-domain films and documentaries featuring the Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Royal Marines, and Fleet Air Arm — recruiting ads, instructional films like “Raising Steam” (1942), gunnery exercises, and oddities like HMS Endurance surveying the SS Great Britain in 1968. The channel hasn’t uploaded in about nine years, so it’s a dormant archive — but the archive is the point, and it’s all still watchable.
